About

“Help me it’s Monday again”.

Not to offend the millions of people who work weekends, as I did for many years, but I believe everyone knows the Monday feeling, no matter what day it is.  Getting back to work, after a day or two off, getting back to that boss, that co-worker, that girl that works in your office, that guy who delivers supplies to the office… those people who BUG you, Harass YOU, who cause you to want to quit, cry, scream, complain, fix it….. and sometimes all those things at once….. I want to help give ideas to all of you that might make that temporary job or that career you worked so hard to obtain, happy or at least satisfied.

As I answer the questions and as we discuss the options to take, I do so with the desire to not help the questioners, but to provide enough insight that might help anyone who is reading.   Send the blog to your best friend who is constantly complaining about her boss.  Your Mom, who can’t believe she is working again. Your Dad, who wants to go back to doing what he loves….. this blog is for everyone.

Tell me what is making you hate Mondays…….

About JJ Sharpe:
I have been in the workplace for 43 years. I have worked for a small business, large businesses and corporations, a Fortune 500 company, a non-profit charity, and my own businesses. I have been at all levels of these organizations, from a clerk to a chief operating officer to an entrepreneur, learning valuable lessons along the way.
I have several degrees that I earned in different ways, an associate’s degree from a technical junior college, a bachelor’s degree which took over fourteen years from a well-known public university and most recently a master’s degree in Leadership and Management from an online university.  I tell you all that to say that again, having gone a less than traditional route, and working the entire time, I have seen and heard many different scenarios.  I have lived through some of the most  unusual times and situations at work….. so what do I do with that information?  Write a book?  Sure, that is one approach, but I would rather start with helping you, sharing my experiences and my insight to make your work life easier.
